A New Project for Roman Polanski

Roman Polanski will be behind the camera for the political suspense The Ghost.

Variety announced that the famous director will be doing the movie The Ghost, which is an adaptation of the novel written by Robert Harris and published last month.

Polanski expressed, "I have been looking for a political thriller to direct for some time, and ‘The Ghost’ could not be more perfect. Robert has constructed a novel with such suspense, it is hard to put it down."

This movie tells the story of a man writing the memoirs of a British Prime Minister. The writer’s life is threatened when he discovers the politician’s secrets.

Polanski worked for 18 months on the production Pompeii. It has a budget of $100 million. However, he is now focused on The Ghost and filming is scheduled to start next fall in Europe.
