The 43-year-old actor’s children, Charlie, 3, and Tennyson, 1, as well as his wife Danielle, will all be baptised. Crowe decided to join them.
The ceremony will happen sometime this year. The star of American Gangster stated, "I’d like to do it this year. My parents decided to let my brother and me make our own decisions about God."
Crowe added, "I started thinking recently, ‘If I believe it is important to baptise my kids, why not me?’ I do believe there are more important things than what is in the mind of a man. There is something much bigger that drives us all. I’m willing to take that leap of faith."
In an interview with Jay Leno, the passionate actor talked about the joys of fatherhood which have pushed him to be a better person. "The voice in my head said to be patient. When you become a dad you should have your life in order."
