The British group is in the process of recording their new album at a farm in Chesire, England. The members of the group would like to launch their album next year.
The group recorded many songs with the help of producer John Leckie, who was replaced by Dan Austin because he needed to work with another artist.
The guitarist, Jez Williams, stated, "We immediately clicked. As a result the recording is very intuitive."
Doves will begin touring as soon as the new album is ready. The group’s last album, Some Cities, was released in 2005.
