The 24 year-old British star is not happy with the charge made against her last month which stated she was in possession of $714 worth of marijuana.
The star knows that such a charge is nearly the equivalent of a guilty verdict in the Scandinavian country.
According to sources, the charge could have disastrous consequences for the singer. For example, United States customs officers may now refuse Winehouse entry to the US. The United States forbids entry to those who have had problems with the law in foreign countries.
Winehouse will be represented by a Norwegian lawyer to remedy the situation.
Last month, Winehouse and her husband, Blake Fielder, were arrested with cannabis in their possession.
