FemaleFirst reported that the Elizabeth and James collection was created by the Olsen twins, who were involved in the entire process including the supervision of the production, dressing the models and much more.
This new collection will combine two styles. The first will be more comfortable, sophisticated and feminine, and will be the Elizabeth line. The second collection, called the James line, will be more fitted and masculine.
This line will be more affordable than the previous collection, The Row, designed by the twins. It will be available at Barneys stores in New York and Harvey Nichols in London.
Mary-Kate and Ashley did not want to just replicate their look, which is admired by many adolescents. They said they were trying to make comfortable clothing that woman feel like wearing.
The twins hope to have a long career in fashion. They already own two lines of clothing called Mary-Kateandashley, sold at Wal-Mart, for the children 5-12 years of age, and the haute couture line, The Row. At the age of 18, they also regained control of their company, Dulstar Entertainment Group.
