Cyberpresse.ca reported that Bran Van 3000 has made a comeback with the album Rosé, almost 10 years after their first album Glee.
The album is a mix of soul music, hip-hop, rock and R&B. It is the Montreal band’s third album.
Rosé has 21 tracks and does a tribute to some of the old hits such as Non, je ne regrette rien, by Édit Piaf, and I’ll Be Around, by the Spinners.
James Di Salvio decided to bring the group back together by convincing Stéphane Moraille, Steve Liquid Hawley, Sara Johnston, Jayne Hill and Nick Hynes to reunite. This was a challenge for many of the members since many of them had completely left the scene many years ago.
The Montreal production company Big Fat Truck associated with Bran Van 3000 for this album which will be done under the label Remstar Interaction.
