According to FemaleFirst, the rapper Jay-Z and his club 40/40 are being sued by a woman who was laid off because she was pregnant.
Folake Ogundiran, who works as a sales assistant at this club, made a complaint to the Supreme Court in Manhatten claiming that her job was terminated because she announced she was pregnant.
Ogundiran said she had the door slammed in her face two days after making the announcement that she was pregnant. The amount of the lawsuit has not been specified, but one of the club’s reps, Ron Berkowitz, said it was nothing major and would probably be dropped.
