A Superior Court judge in Los Angeles finalised the divorce request between the actress and the rocker, who were married for six years.
The two will share legal custody of their son, three year-old Ryder. Neither party will receive child support.
Robinson, who is a singer for the Black Crowes, filed for a divorce last November, three months after the couple separated. The two celebrities were married in Colorado in 2000 in a New Year’s ceremony.
Hudson then dated Owen Wilson and was recently linked to actor Dax Shepard. She continues to have a friendly relationship with Robinson, and told Harper’s Bazaar magazine, "For both Chris and me, our main focus is, and was, Ryder. And happy parents, happy baby. Therefore, I love Chris to pieces."
