Owen Wilson Gives First Interview

Owen Wilson has been interviewed for the first time since attempting suicide.

Wilson has spoken publicly for the first time since attempting to take his own life last August.  The actor, who will turn 39 in November, was interviewed by his long-time friend and partner Wes Anderson.  The two talked about the release of their film, The Darjeerling Limited.

Fans can read the interview on Friday on the Internet at MySpace’s Artist on Artist series.

In September at the Venice Film Festival, Anderson said that his friend was doing well and added, "When he’s ready he’s going to speak for himself much better than anyone else could. He has a very good way with words."

Wilson and Anderson worked together on several projects including Bottle Rocket and The Royal Tenenbaums.  They also co-wrote The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou together.
