Kevin Costner To Star in The New Daughter

Spanish filmmaker Luiso Berdejo is making his American film debut with The New Daughter, which will star Kevin Costner.

Costner, 52, has confirmed that he will be starring in the suspense that is being produced by Gold Circle.

Costner will play John James, a single father who moves to a farm with his two kids following a painful divorce.  Shortly after, the father realizes that his daughter is acting strangely, and that is may have to do with a burial site nearby.

The New Daughter was written by John Connolly and adapted for film by John Travis.

Costner stars in and produced the upcoming Touchstone film Swing Vote, and will also be seen in the film Mr. Brooks.
