Universal Pictures has gotten the rights to do a biography of singer Kurt Cobain, by Charles Cross…Heavier Than Heaven. It is a personal diary of the singer’s life.
The movie will be produced by Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan, Ben Silverman and Graham Larson. Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love, and Howard Weitzman will be involved in the production.
Cobain was part of the group Nirvana. He died in 1994, and was famous for his successful, Smells Like Teen Spirit.
