Longoria, star of the television series, Desperate Housewives, refused at the last minute to present an award to Taylor at the 25th annual Macy’s Passport AIDS/HIV gala last Thursday.
A source at the gala told E! Online, "She cried off at the last possible minute with the excuse that she had ‘something else’ on."
The 32-year-old actress was supposed to present the award to Taylor, one of the founders of this charity. However, Longoria’s rep claimed that he never confirmed her attendance at this event.
He stated, "It was never official. She was trying to see if she could, but then, she couldn’t. I’m not sure why."
