The heiress’ mother, Kathy, explained that her husband, Rick, used their daughter’s obsession for the cell phone as a form of discipline.
She stated, "When Paris disobeyed us, we would first confiscate her mobile phone – which was practically her life. Second time it would be disconnected, for a month or so."
