According to FemaleFirst, the singer Toni Braxton has breast cancer. The singer of the hit song Unbreak My Heart, has discretely gone through chemotherapy and radiation, according to the National Enquirer.
The mother of two children was diagnosed two months ago but wanted to keep it a secret after the doctors reassured her that the disease was discovered early enough to contain it. She decided to go on with her show, Toni Braxton: Revealed. The doctors are giving her injections to fight the fatigue caused by the chemotherapy.
A family friend explained, "Toni is a fighter. She initially thought the worst, but doctors assured her the prognosis for her breast cancer is excellent. She still has moments when she gets upset and she may cry a little bit – but those moments don’t last long."
