The British actor Anthony Hopkins was honoured for his talent as a director and actor during the International Film Festival in Locarno, Switzerland.
The star received an award for his work as a director for the movie Slipstream, in which he played the part of a troubled German writer.
The award for best actor was shared with French actor Michel Piccoli, and Italian actor Michele Venitucci, while best actress was awarded to Marian Alvares.
