The 63 year-old rocker will write about his years as a member of the rock band, his heroin dependence, and his conflicts with the band’s singer, Mick Jagger.
According to the Associated Press, Richards will earn $7.3 million for writing his memories. Richards is following in the footsteps of his fellow bandmates, Bill Wyman and Ron Wood, who have already released autobiographies.
The Rolling Stones are currently in Europe with their Bigger Bang World Tour.
