Stella McCartney Launching Lingerie

The new collection of silk, organic cotton and silk chiffon will be released for the spring/summer 2008 season.  The line was created with the help of Bendon, who has expertise in the market.  Bendon has produced a collection for Elle Macpherson for the past 17 years.

McCartney told WWD, "This is a natural progression for me.  Lingerie is an obsession of mine. I have been inspired by it for many, many years. Ever since my degree collection at Saint Martins, I have always used it in my work."
