Damon has told his fans to not get excited about recent reports that he was collaborating with Ben Affleck on a new film. Damon insists that they do not have a project in the making.
Earlier this month, a spokesperson for Damon had people believing that he and Affleck were hoping to write another successful film. The two wrote the film Good Will Hunting 10 years ago.
Damon told the New York Daily News, "We went to Hawaii on vacation together and we started surfing and somebody decided we were writing a screenplay together. We’re not writing anything together. Not now, anyway."
