The Cheaper by the Dozen actor has proposed to the former New Yorker journalist, who has been writing for Vogue. According to FemaleFirst, the two plan to wed as soon as possible.
Martin, 61, divorced his first wife, Victoria Tennant, in 1994, after eight years of marriage. He then had a romantic relationship with actress Anne Heche.
Martin also completed a book about his life, "Born Standing Up". In the book, Martin talks about being abused as a child by his father. The book will be released in December.
