The Hollywood actress will be the first celebrity to represent the Italian design house. Barrymore will be promoting the new jewellery collection that will be released in September.
The actress was photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vindoodh Matadin. Frida Giannini, creative director for Gucci, told WWD, "Drew brought wonderful energy and excitement to this project. She is such a strong and confident woman, but her humour and sensitivity made her completely disarming."
