The John Tucker Must Die star plans to follow in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend, Nadine Coyle, who is part of the British group Girls Aloud, and become a singer.
Metcalfe told People magazine, "I’m trying to do music, actually. I’ve just started writing and trying to develop my sound a little bit, but it will be as a solo artist. I sing and play guitar."
The 28 year-old actor was in London last Wednesday for the MAC Viva Glam party, and revealed that he was in the English capital to meet music producers.
