The rapper has said that he had a brief affair with the diva in 2001, but that he has ignored her ever since. Eminem plans to share more information regarding their relationship on his upcoming album.
A source told the American magazine OK!, "There is more than one track that goes into really specific, intimate detail about what went on between Em and Mariah."
Carey wants desperately to stop Eminem from talking about their past, and has even asked L.A. Reid, the head of Island Def Jam records, to intervene.
The source added, "Mariah wishes she could sue Eminem for slander, but it’s his freedom of speech."
For the first time, Eminem is saying that he received voice messages from Carey that said, "Why won’t you see me? Why won’t you call me?"
Carey denies the story, and told FemaleFirst, "Something is clearly askew with him. I’m curious as to why he’s so obsessed with me."
