Filming is set to begin this week in Queensland, before moving to Melbourne. Director Simone North and producer Tony Cavanaugh have hired veteran director and producer Sidney Lumet to her North with her debut behind the cameras.
The suspense follows the story of a 15 year-old student, Rachel Barber, who disappears in 1999 from Melbourne and is later found dead. It is believed that she was killed by a childhood friend, Caroline Reid.
Kate Bell and Ruth Murphy have been selected to play the two girls. Pearce and Ott will play Rachel’s parents. Neill will play the friend’s father.
