White Stripes Give a Secret Concert

The White Stripes performed a secret concert in London for a group of pensioners.

Jack and Meg White gave a small accoustic performance at the Royal College Hospital in London yesterday for 20 war veterans.

Jack said to the crowd, "Besides letting us in to your home, we want to thank you for the service you’ve done your country and the rest of the world, especially the United States of America."

The two played six songs, and wore a traditional scarlet uniform with military decorations.

Many of the members of the crowd had never heard of the band, but were still enthusiastic about the show.  Any profits from the concert will be given to help war veterans.
