The British singer has revealed that her excess partying is out of control, and now hopes that getting back into a recording studio will motivate her to cut down on her drinking.
According to FemaleFirst, Allen said, "I’m an alcoholic now. It’s not good and that’s why I want to get back into the studio.I’ve actually pulled myself aside and said it will kill me if I keep it up."
Allen’s father is defending the singer, saying that she has been under a lot of pressure. Allen recently conducted a tour in the United States to promote her disc Alright Still. Allen’s father said, "She felt down about going on tour in the US and has been alone on the road. That’s very hard."
