Richards, who can next be seen in the film Blonde and Blonder with co-star Pamela Anderson, will play an exotic dancer in A Beautiful Life. This will be the first time for Richards to star in an independent film. The cast also includes Jesse Garcia, Dana Delany, Debi Mazar and Michael Madsen.
The film was written by Wendy Hammond and producer Deborah Calla, and based on a stage show written by Hammond.
The film with a budget of $5 million will begin shooting this summer in Los Angeles.
