Wes Craven Film To Be Remade

Greek filmmaker Dennis Iliadis is in talks to direct the remake of the suspense film The Last House on the Left from Wes Craven.

Craven, who wrote and directed the original film in 1972, will produce the project.

The story follows a group of teens who are kidnapped, robbed and murdered by a gang.  Later, the gang members wind up taking refuge in the home of one of their victim’s parents.

Iliadis is a popular director in Europe, and is best known for his 2004 film Hardcore, which followed the relationship between two prostitutes.
