Walter Mitty is a daydreamer whose imagination allows him to escape the mundane realities of life and enter a world of heros who have extraordinary adventures.
Jay Kogen, who has written for the television shows The Simpsons, Fraiser and most recently The Class, is currently working on the screenplay. Samuel Goldwyn Jr. and John Goldwyn will produce the project.
Before starting The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Myers will shoot The Love Guru in Toronto with Marco Schnabel behind the camera. Myers is also slated to play the drummer of the legendary British rock band The Who in the film See Me, Feel Me: Keith Moon Naked for Your Pleasure. A fourth installment of the Austin Powers film franchise is also in the works.
