Cage will play Al Capone at a young age, a character previously played by Robert DeNiro. The Untouchables: Capone Rising is a prequel to the 1987 DePalma movie. The movie showed the first affairs between Capone and Irish police officer Jimmy Malone, a role that earned Sean Connery an Oscar.
The prequel will begin filming in October.
