According to various sources, Johansson will not be playing Nelly Forbush in the Lincoln Center production of the musical.
Recently, the young actress fueled reports that she would star in the production after she declared her love for the musical.
The Lost In Translation star also revealed that she has a problem with the character’s name, which is similar to that of American President, George W. Bush.
Johansson, 22, explained, "I’ve thought about it (playing Nellie). Though I’d have to be named ‘For Bush’, which I don’t think I could stomach."
