According to Variety, the singer and dancer will play former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith in the film about the late star’s life.
Filming is set to begin next week with Keoni Waxman behind the camera.
The film will follow the life of Smith from the age of 17 until her death at the age of 39 last February.
Anna Nicole Smith was a Guess model and actress, who was married to billionaire J. Howard Marshall II at the time of his death. Smith gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Dannielynn, in the Bahamas last September. Just days later, her son Daniel died, and five months later, Smith died in Florida.
