According to Variety, the film will be directed by Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin. Nim’s Island is the story of a little girl who travels with her scientist father to a remote island in the South Pacific. After her father becomes lost at sea, the young girl begins communicating with an imaginary person who she thinks is a character from a book.
Filming for Nim’s Island is set to begin this summer.
