According to People magazine, Simpson has given a minivan to a Mexican orphanage. The Dukes of Hazzard star personally delivered the new Chrysler van to the woman who runs the orphanage, Mama Lupita.
A representative for the singer said that the children were thrilled to see Simpson, explaining, "They surrounded the car and were so excited to see her. They kept saying, ‘Muchas gracias!"
The Irresistable singer also plans to sell one of her dresses and give the proceeds to the orphanage. Simpson, 26, said, "I’m so honored and happy to be able to help."
