According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cuba Gooding Jr., 39, and Ray Liotta, 52, have joined the cast of the project.
The film tells the story of a garbage collector who stages a bank robbery. He then intends to foil the robbery to impress the female bank worker that he is in love with. Things go awry when the plan goes wrong and the garbage man seeks revenge on those who double-crossed him.
Filming for Hero Wanted is set to begin next month in Bulgaria. Filmmaker Brian Smrz will direct the project.
