The Hollywood star said that she "cried constantly" when she first became an ambassador for the United Nations. Jolie, who visited Sudan, Africa last month, admits that she is often obsessed with the difficulties in third world countries.
Jolie, who has busy with her United Nations functions since 2001, told People magazine, "The first two years I just cried constantly. I couldn’t really talk about the situation without being emotional. And I went through a period of just complete lack of hope."
