The 34-year-old actor received this honour for his contribution to the film industry. Law, who was seen in The Talented Mr. Ripley and Cold Mountain, among others, was moved by this recognition.
The actor expressed, "I am speechless," "My mom and dad have lived in France for 15 years, so really it is a country I share as my home."
Jude Law’s next project is My Blueberry Nights. He co-stars ith Norah Jones, and Natalie Portman. It will be in theatres in June.
