Scorcese, 64, who just won an Oscar for best director, will be directing the movie The Long Play, produced by Mick Jaggar’s production company.
The movie tells the story of two friends, and their life in the world of music.
Mick Jaggar, 63, has had the idea for this movie for a few years. The screenplay will be written by William Monahan, who also got an Oscar for the screenplay for The Departed.
It is the second time Jagger and Scorcese work together. The first time was when Scorcese did a documentary on the Rolling Stones, that will be releasedl ater this year.
