According to Variety, the film has been rescheduled for a release on September 28. The Kingdom was directed by filmmaker Peter Berg.
Universal Studios is confident that the Jamie Foxx film will be more successful in the fall, as many films are released during the month of April.
Foxx, 39, plays an FBI agent who is a member of an elite team to fight terrorists.
