A Reunion for Richard Gere and Diane Lane

According to Variety, Lane, 42, and Gere, 57, will be reuniting for a film.  They worked together previously in the film Unfaithful.

Warner Studios is making a film version of a novel from Nicholas Sparks.  Gere will play a doctor who is travelling to see his estranged son.  When he stops for the night in a North Carolina town, he falls in love with a woman who is trying to decide if she is leaving her husband.

Filming for Night in Rodanthe is set to begin at the end of May.
