According to Variety, Murphy is in discussions to participate in the film.
For two weeks, the project’s director has been trying to build his cast. Murphy, who starred in the Beverly Hills Cop films, among others, may join the cast when he finishes filming the comedy Starship Dave.
In NowhereLand, Murphy, 45, will play a financial executive who loses his confidence and finds his career going down the drain. He finally finds the answers he is looking for in an imaginary world created by his daughter.
Filming for NowhereLand is set to begin filming this summer.
