According to Hello magazine, the two stars wanted to help others during the holiday season. Jolie and Pitt visited San Jose where they brought Christmas gifts for refugee children.
As an ambassador to the United Nations, the Tomb Raider star was happy to make the visit. Jolie said, "We had a wonderful Christmas both with the Costa Rican people and the Columbian refugee families we met."
The actress also added, "My Christmas message to Colombian refugees and to the millions of displaced people in Colombia is that the world has not totally forgotten them."
Jolie, 31, and Pitt, 43, recently spent some time in Cambodia with their family.
