According to the website IOL, Cattrall has officially announced the news.
The former television series of the same name ended in 2004. It is rumoured that all four actresses from the TV series will return for the film version.
Cattrall played the edgy Samantha Jones in the series, and has since been performing in London’s The Cryptogram, written by David Mamet. The 50 year-old actress added that she only learned about the film when she came back to the United States from England.
