The film follows the life of the passionate lover and celebrated Spanish matador, Manolete, whose real name was Manuel Rodriguez Sanchez. The bullfighter also had a forbidden love for the divorced actress Lupe Sino, and their relationship became the scandal of Spain.
Juan Echanove, Ann Mitchell and Ruben Ochandiano complete the cast.
