Hilton staunchly defended Spears on her MySpace page after the singer was criticized for all of her recent partying. The hotel chain heiress and Spears have been spending a lot of time together.
Britney Spears recently filed for a divorce from husband, Kevin Federline, which was followed by several nights out on the town with Hilton. However, Hilton is convinced that the singer is not a bad mother.
Hilton, 25, wrote, "Britney loves her kids to death, and I know for a fact that it truly hurts her when she sees these cruel things being written about her. She goes home every night to her babies."
The star of the television series The Simple Life is not happy that her friend is being slammed by the media, and urges journalists to be nicer.
