According to People magazine, Lohan has not had a drink for a week. Yesterday, the star of the films Just My Luck and Freaky Friday, among others, arrived late to a holiday party at the Hollywood club Shag, saying, "I just left an AA meeting."
The 20 year-old star added, "I’ve been going to AA, for a year by the way."
Until recently, the star had chosen not to share the fact that she was attending meetings. The redheaded beauty says that she also doesn’t like to drink at clubs as much as she enjoys drinking at home with her friends.
She has now decided that her drinking has become excessive, and wants to change her life. Lohan will now be concentrating more on her career. She concluded, "I was like, I don’t want to be written about at these clubs with these people. I work, I act, I have a living. That’s what I do every day. I work every single day."
