According to the website Contactmusic, Lopez wants to become the mother of a Puerto Rican child. Since 2004, the star has been married to singer Marc Anthony.
The actress and the singer may soon be adopting, as Madonna, Angelina Jolie and Tom Cruise have done.
Rumours are already circulating that the Monster-In-Law star has been undergoing fertility treatments. The 37 year-old woman has been having difficulty becoming pregnant.
A source revealed, "Jen realises she’s not getting any younger, so they’ve jointly decided that adoption may be the answer to their prayers."
Lopez and Anthony want to raise a child with the same heritage as they have.
