According to Britain’s television channel ITV, Bono wants to help the biological father of the Malawian boy adopted by Madonna. The Vertigo singer thinks that Yohane Banda can work for Edun, a clothing company.
Bono’s wife, Ali Hewson, heads the company. Bono, 46, has been working to help African countries for several years. The singer believes that many Africans could keep their children with them if their level of employment improved.
Madonna is still at the centre of the adoption controversy. The star has given several interviews to explain her side of the story. Yohane Banda, 32, has also explained that he is happy for his son to have a life outside of Malawi.
