According to Variety, Clooney will continue working as an actor and director. The star will direct the film The Belmont Boys, after starring in the feature film White Jazz, which is an adaptation of the novel by James Ellroy.
In White Jazz, the actor will play a lieutenant who is the next man on the list of a hitman. The Bellmont Boys tells the story of seven thieves who meet at the horse races and plan the job of a lifetime. They meet 30 years later to finish what they started.
The two projects will be filmed in 2008. George Clooney, 45, will also be directing his former girlfriend, actress Renee Zellweger, in the romantic comedy Leatherheads.
