According to Hello magazine, Jolie and her son Maddox took some time to visit a camp in New Delhi. Jolie had to leave Afghanistan because of the Taliban. At the moment, the star is in India to film A Mighty Heart.
The Mr. and Mrs. Smith was very impressed by the bravery of these people. She explained, "I am grateful to the refugee families who spent time with me and shared their stories. They are remarkable, courageous people. The wonderful thing that I have learned since I have been in India is that there are many needs for your own people and yet you have been so gracious and been so open to many refugees."
Jolie, 31, is an Ambassador for the United Nations. During her trip she met Anand Sharma, the Foreign Minister of the country, and they discussed Gandhi, peace and non-violence.
