Ewan McGregor to Star in Franklyn

According to Variety, the British actor has been cast in the futuristic film.  Gerard McMorrow will direct the project and Jeremy Thomas will produce.

The film is set in a futuristic London, controlled by religious fanatics.  It is the story of four lost souls separated by two parallel worlds.  An explosive collision takes place when their fates change with a single bullet.

Hanway Films will distribute the movie, and Double Negative has been given the responsibility for the visual effects.
